Huyglas® is a specialty engineered fiberglass felt media designed to meet the most demanding particulate filtration applications. It can withstand temperature excursions up to 600° F and continuous operating temperatures of 550° F. Huyglas® also has:
- High filtration efficiency, especially for sub-micron size particles
- Excellent chemical resistance for both acid and alkaline environments
- Good dimensional stability
- Good abrasion resistance

About the DuraFlex Coating
The DuraFlex coating improves the Huyglas® by dramatically increasing the fiber bond strength to the support scrim, as well as improving abrasion resistance to the cage. Ultimately, this coating aims to improve the bag-life for the end user.
